Trad is Rad. Sepia Tone Print and Cyanotypes
Grainy black and white prints are popular to some extent because they give the image a artistic film grain that looks old compared to modern colour images.
I firstly used Sepia Toned Print in the landscape image and created the image below.
The next was the still life image which I changed into a Cyanotype. This was much easier that I thought it would be and only consisted of using Image- Adjustments-Hue Saturation and drop menu down to Cyanotype. This is quite straightforward and time consuming-compared to how long it takes to make a Cyantype from scratch. I'm sure quality wise there is no comparison compared to a real Cyantype- but I still found the lesson rewarding.
