Creating a zine

There are many ways to create a zine online. The one I have been using is called "Basic PowerPoint Zine Layout" which is an A4 piece of paper, numbered and with templates you can add images or text into 8 boxes.

Page 1 & 2 are your cover and back cover. The rest 3 - 8 are the zines contents. The images or text can be reduced or increased to satisfy your needs. Fonts you wish to use are also available. For my cover, I used a British flag in a teapot. I used Adobe Express to put an image of Lord Kitchener on a teapot by removing the background of the image and superimposing it onto the teapot.

I then added black to the front and back covers and added some bold font to the front cover. The back, I added a light font and included my email and name. The rest of the zine, I kept the color white but added photos and some text to explain the stages of empire. I added a map of the empire I got off the internet but, in time, this will be replaced by a photo of a map I have at home. This example is a mock up and I am perfecting the zine.
